Zip Textile Services is based 2 miles from Birmingham city center, giving us easy access to the Midland motorway system and allowing us to operate extensively throughout the Midlands area. From Leeds down to Southampton we offer a daily or weekly service or by prior agreement with the client. Zip offers to the Hotel and Restaurant industry a full range of Bed Linen and Table Linen, plus a range of Chefs wear and Kitchen Linen for both industries.

Zip Textile Services was first formed in 1987 and has, since that time, been involved in the Cleaning and Maintenance of Textiles.
The company decided from the beginning to grow its business by adopting a single-minded dedication to Quality. We have achieved this by using Quality people, Quality products and finally backed up by a Quality service. Both customers and our colleagues within the industry know Zip Textile Services as the company that takes pride in the high level of service they offer.
The business, over the last 20 years, has grown significantly and become recognised as one of the leading players in the Linen and Workwear Rental market in the Midlands. Not allowing ourselves to stand still and wishing to be innovators within our industry, each year we are investing more and more into our people and in our production facilities.
We have now moved to our new purpose built Laundry in Birmingham; this has increased our production space from 12,000 Sq feet to 27,000 Sq feet and gives us the capacity to launder up to 600.000 pieces per week. This change will also allow us to be significantly more flexible in our approach to the market place.
Having recognised that the market in which we trade is changing we are constantly looking for ways to apply our core skills and develop new services, before offering them to our customers.
The current activities of the company can be broken down into four main areas of operation which are individually managed to ensure that each has a high focus on the Customer

Whilst the business has developed around the provision of a laundry service this belies one of our core skills - Logistics.
Every week throughout the Midlands we collect over 160,000 pieces of soiled linen and besides the expertise we have to ensure these are appropriately cleaned by far the most significant task is to properly organise the collection and delivery of these items from and to our customer. In many instances we are tasked to ensure that the laundered items are delivered to specific, individual customers locations and in many cases, specific areas of our customers premises.
The systems we have adopted to carry out the above tasks are key to our success, by tracking the movement of all of our clients linen we are able too provide a fast and efficient service.
